Working in the hospitality/vacation rental business since 1998, I found that the majority of rental companies in the area would not rent to people with pets. Having a dog myself, I kept finding myself having to stay in undesirable places just to be able to bring my best friend and companion on vacation, and additionally paying a hefty pet charge.

Hence, Enchanted Vacation Properties was born! Starting with two rentals of my own in 2002, I decided I would welcome dogs to my Enchanting Properties. I furnished them with dog beds, bowls, toys, and treats, even adding a doggie guest book. It became a big hit. People were so thankful that they were welcomed to a charming, clean property that embraced their pet and even better, NO extra pet fee.

My philosophy is this… Why should you be penalized just because you want to bring your dog with you? Lake Tahoe is the perfect vacation destination for dogs and their people too!

Our homes are kept very clean. Our cleaning staff makes every effort for owners and pets to have a memorable Lake Tahoe experience. Although most of our homes are pet friendly, we do offer some beautiful properties for those people that wish a pet free home.
